Android map caching not working?

Can't work out what I'm doing wrong here, most likely a simple fix. I'm using the Nvidia Shield K1 with Android 5.1 and DJI Go 3.1.3

I'm going into the app whilst connected to wifi at home and caching the map areas where I plan to fly. If I turn the wifi off and start everything up from scratch to test the maps, I'm not seeing them. As soon as wifi goes back on they obviously appear.

Recently downgraded from Android 7 to 5.1 and was ok previously. Help please guys!

Intresting, can't tell you what the problem is but I use the same tablet and have never had a issue caching. Like you said, connect to wifi, open DJI go, zoom in on area of map I'm going to be flying and done.
