Another solution is to get one of those el cheapo bags from China. Then you can pull out the P2(3) foam and use it in some better (photo) bag. Maybe even a used one.

I don't have it yet but it looks like 4 to me. Keep in mind, anyone who buys this type of pack should be looking to modify it by cutting out the foam. It's easy and nice to be able to set it up how you want.
I sure wish ProCraft would get their Fieldline Alpha Ops Sandstone backpack out for the P3, this is a great backpack, had one for regular backpacking in the hills.
