Alpha versus Argtek

I don't own an I-Product, but I use AZ Screen Recorder on Android. It's been hit and miss as far as slowing/choppy video. Basically two video products running at once as far I can guess. It's a cool product, but I know there are others.

I have a P3S with the ARGtek kit (6 antennas; 3 omni and 3 panel) and with the Magic Power range mod get around 2,000m (around 6,500 ft) with the three directional panel antennas before the 5GHz control signal starts to fail (video is generally rock-solid). So I've been looking for a way to extend the control signal to match the video and have just ordered a single Alfa APA-M25 flat panel. This has 10 dBi gain at 5GHz versus the 6 dBi of the flat panel that comes with the ARGtek kit, so I'm hoping it will get me well beyond the 2,000m limit I've had so far. I'll report back when I've had a chance to test it (it might be a couple of weeks).
