From my recent adventure to Eastern California. Looks extraterrestrial, except the mountains in the background are the Sierra Nevada. But really, it's all about the light here.

It looks so much nicer enlarged. When looking at it small, I was wishing the mountains were up closer, so I could see their dramatic effect better. Maybe with a telephoto. Making the photo larger did it.
