I had developed a workflow where I applied Adobe Premiere's "Warp Stabilizer" filter to the video captured by my Phantom 2 Vision with a RotorPixel gimbal.

I was very happy with the results. Even on windy days, I could make it look like the 'copter was hovering without moving.

I finally had a chance to use my new Phantom 3 Professional and ... I was very happy with the results without using the Warp Stabilizer. I had worried that the improvement wouldn't be enough to justify the cost. But, it was worth it!

I still have a lot to learn about the P3P and all the things it lets you control in the camera. But, here's my first video I made using it. I recorded it Saturday at our local model rocket club launch.

I was thinking about filming launches of Estes type rockets. Now I don't have to.
