Doesn't work for me
Beginner mode off

Advanced menu , iOS and multiple mode toggled green

Fly to 50 feet
Then S1 switched all the way back to me

Am I correct in expecting area to the right of FCL should then be enabled on which I then tap and choose follow, point etc in the drop down?

It doesn't

I must have missed something , any ideas?

thousandyard, it sounds like you're doing the correct thing. You can double-check here:

If compass or gps goes crazy and you get a flyaway will manual mode be able to save you? (Granted you are a good enough pilot to fly manual?)

If the issue is being caused by GPS, then switching to ATTI would probably allow you to regain control. If the compass is not calibrated properly and/or you take off when the DJI GO app is reporting strong magnetic interference, then all hope will probably be lost shortly after you lift off the ground.

Thanks for that, sadly I don't get the enable intelligent flight mode, maybe it's trying to tell me something! [emoji17]
Probably try a firm ware update again and see if that cures it.
