Adding used P4P to Existing DJI Account

Hey all, I recently purchased a used P4P and have been trying to get my DJI account to recognize the previously owned drone. I have signed out then back into my account thinking that this would trigger recognition by DJI. To no avail, anybody know if this is even possible or does your DJI account only recognize new purchases and 1st time activations?
