Active Track / Spotlight Question

In active Track or spotlight, if the subject being tracked moves out of RC range does the drone continue to follow the subject indefinitely? Or will the Drone RTH? Or hover in place?

If the Phantom loses track of the subject, it'll stop moving, start hovering in place, and display a message in the DJI GO to notify you that the subject has been lost.

Yes but what if the drone still has the target but RC signal is lost? For example, if I'm tracking a car but the remote control is not in the car. Eventually it may go out of signal range but still have the subject locked on.

Failsafe RTH will be initiated 3 seconds after the remote controller signal is lost.
