9 Inch Props on a Phantom V1.1.1 space between

Is this space between props normal? Its safe? I change the stock 8 inch self tightening to 9 inch DJI props, this is a Phantom V1.1.1 and I just want to make sure before flying.

Mine are 0.350 inches apart tip-to-tip. Yours look the same.
So yea, I would say OK.

Nope. In fact right now I'm using a P1 top on a P2 bottom.

Correct, all versions of the Phantom all the way back to the very first 1.0 are able to use DJI's 9443's props...although anything before 1.2 will have to use the non-self-tightening version.

You won't go back to the 8" after flying with 9" (DJI) props

Lets give them a try, I hope I get more flight time, also Im gonna try using this props with my new MadDog 2700 mAh Battery.
