75 mph+ in Sport Mode?... Hand catch w/sensors on

It was REAL windy here today... still testing capabilities of the P4P...

Twice on the down wind leg I was over 70mph... kinda freaked me out a bit, not used to a Phantom going that fast, only my race quads...

Must be because it's high enough above you for you not to be breaking the horizontal plane right in front of it?
 
Hey Slade, how far have you flow away from home? Have you gone over 10,000' range?
No, I need to go elsewhere without so many places to lose a Phantom... I will try near Folsom Lake here shortly, maybe tomorrow, but the wind is supposed to be 20-25mph :eek::(
 
Don't most people hand catch from the rear of the drone?

Thanks. I've always do the hand catch from the rear of the drone and never really noticed any problems with the sensors.
