I've had some problems getting the controller to connect to the aircraft. Usually it connects fine although it may take a few minutes. Today I changed the frequency from 5 to 2.4 GHz and the connection was established in an instant. Tried several times,-same result, instant connection.
It's raining today, so I haven't tested how the bird performs in-flight using 2.4 GHz.
Anybody else had the same experience?

I only fly using 5.8 ghz. It goes further and has less interference from others devices

For me 5 GHz band gave a littlebit higher distance as 2,4 GHz

5.8 is rated at 4000m distance but it doesn’t like going through things 2.4 is about a 1000m But is affected by other devices it makes no sense that you can connect to one and not the other

Have flown a few flights and @5.8 Gig I lost video pretty quickly,-100 feet or so distance.
@2.4 gigs I never lost connection.
