3-D printing for Tx battery lid?

Is anybody utilizing 3-D printing for prototyping? I have/see a need for reproducing TX battery compartment covers. So many used Phantoms mention that the lids are missing. (where did they all go?) I could use three right away. The only catch is cost. As long as they wouldn't be the cost of buying a used TX on ebay, ($25).
