I have several 2100mah lipos (Venom) for my planes. They're all new. They all have the Dean's T-style ( -| ) connectors. I bought some XT60 adapters. Would 2100mah just be slightly less flight time? Can I stilll use the Phantom charger? Thanx.

far as i can tell, as long as the voltage and C rating is correct, you should be able to use the batteries. it will just mean that you will have a shorter flight time (2100 mah = less juice to power everything), but the trade off may be that they are lighter batteries.

Thanks. I'm assuming that if the cells are balanced, I can continue using the older charger? It doesn't couple to the main power connector, the way the phantom charger does, just the balance connector.

That should work fine and can be charged by Phantom charger too.
You amay get 30 seconds less flight time. :)
I used 1800 mAh pack with no problem.

sounds like it'l work ok.
some people even change their Phantom cables and batteries to Dean style.

Couldn't hurt to pick up a new charger that has more adjustable parameters, they're cheap (and would allow you to charge one more battery at a time).

the 2100 will be slightly lighter as well, so you might not lose as much flight time as you think.
