Zenmuse h3 2d

If the h3 2d gimbal comes as standard (with GCU) and that's a gimbal that u buy separately that doesn't say only for phantom 2. The bundle usually comes with h3 2d and 3d usually don't come with GCU and says only for phantom 2

So if I purchase the h3 2d and it's the one that comes with GCU, I can use the gimbal right don't have to use the GCU? As that's built in with phantom 2 ??

Is that correct or is it different version

Phantom 2 Only is for P2s and do NOT come with GCU (gimbal control unit).
If you fly anything other than a P2, then a CGU is required.

The difference is the mounting plate. The phantom 2 model has an extra gold connector on the mounting plate so you can do factory reset. The GCU models don't have the gold connector and the reset is done by PC software.

Correction the h3-2d does not have extra a gold connector mounting plate for a factory reset which can only be done on the h3-3d/h4-3d gimbals
