China just have one new P3 backpack release in market, it can store with cellphone at outside, inside can be store with pad, out shape quite good, but not cheap, it cost est. US$100

There's a knock off hard shell case I've seen for like 30% what DJI sells theirs for. I have the DJI hardcase. It has a spot for the charger and the props. I don't understand how you can't fit that stuff.

I agree. All of that stuff would certainly have fit in my DJI backpack. Like the others have said, there is no need to bring your charger along with you if there is no place to use it.
If you have the removable foam on the top of the lid, the ipad can go in between the foam and the backpack shell.
The removable prop guards might be the only thing you couldn't store in the backpack, but they are also probably the pieces that need to be protected the least. They aren't terribly expensive and are designed to take some abuse....I would get a cheap carabiner and just loop the prop guards around the handle of the backpack and have them hang on the outside, if you felt you need to bring them along.

GPC DJI Phantom 3 Backpack Standard Edition Sandstone

Is it basically the same as the normal black version, just a different color? Or is it a stripped down version of the black one?
I'm hoping its the same as the black but just didn't sell as well so that's why the much lower price. But depending on if its stripped down & how much it still may be worth it to me.

Drone dog, it look the same as the black ver. I got the limited which uses the actual 5.11 branded bag. Their standard looks like it's a non branded 5.11 bag

My P3A and stuff all fits in a semi soft CADEN bag I bought cheap from HK. I'm happy with it. Should be ok in a/c storage and does not scream drone inside.

I always say buy a bag that holds the phantom so you can keep the props on, better for the prop threads so they don't fly off.
