Where is my memory card?

My v2+ says i have a 4gig card when I connect directly to the camera unit. My card is in fact a 16gb card. If I remove the card the app shows that no card is inserted. Anybody know whats going on?

Have you formatted it in the camera? (from the app settings - camera icon and phantom turned on)
Possibly the card is somehow corrupted or even not 16 GB as sold (Can you check it elsewhere)
They are inexpensive, if not happy I'd get another rather than lose valuable video.

How did you initialize your card? Is sounds like it's been formatted with the FAT filesystem which has a max partition size of 4 GB. You need to use the FAT32 filesystem to be able to use the rest of your card.

You need to re-partition the flash drive. It sounds like it's got a 4GB partition on it with 28 GB of unused space.

Be careful. Don't re-partition your Mac's system drive by mistake.
