Western North Carolina area?

I am located in Cullowhee, NC. I attend Western Carolina University and was wondering if there are any pilots out here who would want to meet up and explore some waterfalls, the blue ridge parkway, and other wonderful mountainscapes.

I am the owner of a DJI Phantom 3 Pro.

Welcome to the forum Garret. I'm in WNC (Waynesville here). Just be warned the Blue Ridge Parkway is a no fly zone and you'll get fined and possibly get your aircraft confiscated. You can do a search on here or Google and see where it's discussed.

We have some amazing views but you'll want to know where you and any regulations in the area before you launch.
