I'm about 80% Portuguese and Linguica is a staple food. My uncle used to have it for breakfast with scrambled egges and morsala... (pigs blood sausage... You could smell it cooking for about three blocks...)

We have that every Christmas Eve with the family. iFly mentioned his grandfathers wine, my wife 's grandfather did the same in fact when we first moved to this house we still had the barrel. Interestingly enough, my wife's father is Mohawk Indian and her mother (rip) was Portuguese.

Funny about ya father-in-law being Mohawk as my Grandmother was 100% Cherokee ! [ well there might have been someone in da woodpile along the way ]
