You should try Davinic Resolve from Blackmagic Design: DaVinci Resolve 12. This is a studio quality editor with the power of Adobe and the other big companies but free. It is used in the film industry for movie and TV. There are lots of tutorials on it also. Awesome, I will never use anything else! Good luck.
