Yes, I have edited 4k with it. Unfortunately I have not tried to us a proxy but I will be trying on my next video.

You must have a very good gaming computer if you've edited 4k without a proxy. Nice.

I recently just upgraded my PC and it has been amazing and made the whole process more enjoyable. I do still want to learn how to implement proxies to make it even faster but for now it has been good.
