Use P3 gimbal & camera on a different type of drone?

I like the P3 gimbal and camera on my P3, but now I am flying a Spreading Wings 1000. Can I remove the gimbal and camera and attach them to a different receiver/transmitter (e.g. a Turnigy setup)?

Im thinking no, it’s a proprietary camera designed for the P3 and without extensive electronics knowledge you wouldn’t get it to work
