Here's hoping one of you experts can offer some suggestions. I just bought the SMMVS1100 goggles and I'm trying to get video. I'm getting a very "static-laden" image and can't seem to get it to clear up. I have the Fatshark circular antennas on the transmitter and on the goggles. Do I need a different transmitter?

Sorry, but I think you will need a different TX. The Boscam uses different channels to the Fat Shark and there aren't any ones that match. This: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...o_Transmitter_FatShark_compatible_600mw_.html Immersion unit has the correct channels and is considered by many to offer the best trade off between range, power consumption and price.
Thanks for the reply Noiseboy. Do you think that transmitter will also power my black pearl! Or can I tether from the black pearl to the goggles using th transmitter I have? Could be I just can't have both! Or maybe I should just add a flint camera. I just hate to add to the weight.
The Immersion will work with both the BP and Fat shark, so this is probably the simplest option.
The Fat Shark has a significantly better receiver as well, with better reception at long range, so I would not want to rely on the BP.
