Traveling with P2 Vision on Airline

Anybody traveling on an airplane with their P2 or P2 Vision? Do they allow carry on? I would imagine that you have to pack your battery in your suitcase. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I traveled with my P2V in January. Your spare batteries MUST be in your carry on luggage. FAA does not want spare LIPO batteries in check baggage.

I have a Trade Craft hard case for my Phantom and accessories so I ended up checking the P2V using 2 TSA approved locks. In the future I'd probably carry on the P2V and check the luggage, but I did not have any issues. TSA did check it on the return flight and left their "TSA Inspected" tape on the case.
