use a lightning to USB adaptor, make sure to get an apple one as the chinese knockoffs are hit miss with how they work

This is how I do it on my Huawei M3, could you also use similar adapters on an iPhone?

Top is 64GB full-size flash drive
Just below that is 128 GB mini flash drive
Lined up with the tablet USB port is 'micro USB to full size USB adapter', next to that is 'USB to SD card adapter'

Yeah that 1-piece would be convenient. I have to keep all my various USB & SD bits in a clear plastic eyeglasses case.

You can download specific footages using dji go 4 for immediate processing on your iphone. You probably not thinking of uploading entire content of sd card onto your iPhone. You will run out of memory in no time. U3 SD cards are coming down in price. I have seen 256GB for $60 on amazon.
