A few days ago I flew over a farmer's field while parked on the side of a country road. I took off a fair distance from the car, but as to not attract attention when I fly I sometimes try to block what I am doing from the view of passersby. Long story short, I landed by the car and the Phantom 3 flipped over completely and landed upside down with the props still spinning.

Do not attempt to reproduce this horror. Instant queasiness.

did you perform CSC? i flipped mine doing CSC to shut down the motors, i just use minimum throttle now.

Yes especially in dusty areas, or high grass.

hand catching is easy.... plenty of threads here about it. Let it hover just above your head. grab with one hand, left stick down with other hand.... I won't even take a chance of having the Phantom flip when it lands on the ground....

Yeah, sounds like you did the CSC to shut down the motors. It's highly unlikely that the car would have anything to do with a flip like that.

It was auto landing at the time of the flip.
