I've only taken photos with a cell phone until now. I have this awesome camera and no knowledge on how to use it. I've began to read articles online to help me understand the settings. I've thought about joining a local photography class .

Can someone explain to me how your doing long exposures? It's something I wasn't to do but do not know how.

Best regards,
Thomas

shutter speed 1/25, 1/60......... 1/1000 the higher the bottom # is the fastes the shutter opens and close the lower the more time stay open and allows more light to get to sensor, higher # sport photos, etc, you must use a tripod not to have a movement , older cameras you where able to hold the button for as long as U wanted, hope it help , going to take my chances and fly some today P2v+v3 with v.2.0 ESC:eek:

Hi Coldfire,
Welcoming you to the forum, too.
Since you are very new to taking pictures I thought you might enjoy reading this article on Phantom Photography.

Just some things for you to consider and think about, as you learn.

Here is a great video for new Phantom 3 4K camera user.
