Luckily the bird was not hurt in any way, even the propellers were not damaged at all.

I learned a lesson: Always keep an eye to the bird even when filming.

"Situational Awareness"...I also learned that lesson. LOL! Third time flying I forgot about the tree behind me. Battery was ejected and it got a little dirty, I was lucky.

WOW! your craft recovered just in time. Even with eye contact dept of field is tricky, at one point I was sure I was going to pass in front of the tree and I passed behind really close and didn't touch anything by fluke. Nice yard by the way.

There is an amazing story which I won’t bore you with. A tree guy was going to charge me at least $100 probably $200. This guy worked for the power company. When he got down he asked for $25. I gave him $50.
