Taking still photos while filming movie on P3

I saw a YouTube clip where someone said they could take a still photo while filming movie on the P3 Pro. I was thinking that it might be possible on the Pro by taking a 4K frame but not possible on the Advanced. Can anyone on the forum confirm whether this is possible for the Pro and what about the Advanced.

I have tried it and it doesn't work. I believe that in the FAQ from DJI, that was asked and the answer was no.

Youtube is like Facebook (or forums). It's not all true.

It's video or stills on the P3s .. not both.
You can extract a frame from the video and the quality is pretty good from 4K.

The still photo taken from a single frame of 2160p 4K video is about an 8.2MP image vs the 12MP 4000x3000 resolution of an actual still photo on the Phantom 3.

One useful hint, when hovering in a decent day the stabilization is so good that if you stop video, take a photo, and restart video you can stitch them together pretty much seamlessly. Just a workaround when the photo quality is essential.

Sorry if I've just stated the obvious, I'm new to this forum having just bought a new P3 after six months of video frustration with the FC40!
