I used a latex glove and gripped the lens at the very edge - the closest to the edge as possible, as that's where the least resistance is. It's all about the edge and doing it gently - not giving it hell!
Go to www.UAVbits.com they have a lens wrench that works amazing! I've been trying to get mine off for weeks and tonight I got my wrench, and like butter it came right off!

I tried everything and then read a post where you put velcro on mine and it came right off. Just stick it on all around and gentle turn it off. It works.
