DJI says to tie to USB cable (inside battery tray), so you can hold it out easier when needed, but both above post are smarter :lol:

You tie one end to something heavy on the ground and the other to the landing gear of your Phantom.

This is in place of a firmware update and is guaranteed to prevent fly aways 100% !!

After I had a flyaway, I was nervous on the next flight. So I tied a 20 foot long piece of string to the Phantom & anchored it to a table.

I did see a video a while back where a couple were flying a Phantom. As it came in to land she was wheeling in the cord attached to the quad!! I kid you not! :mrgreen: Wish I could remember where I saw it.
