strange LED light sequence P4P

Hi all, apologies if this has come up before but couldn't find anything on it.
I updated to latest firmware yesterday for aircraft and controller., v01.04.0602 and 01.04.01.00 and this morning I went out to test all's good and it took off fine. As I was hovering about 5 metres up to test controls I noticed that the rear LED's were flashing a pattern I had not seen before.... 6 green flashes at normal speed followed by 2 long red flashes, this sequence continued throughout the flight, (i was just hovering as unsure about going too far).
All the controls seemed normal and she reacted to commands as expected. No warnings on the screen and I had checked IMU and compass before take off and both were in the green. Full flight and controller batteries.
Any thoughts much appreciated and also if anyone knows where I can find a chart from DJI that explains the
different light sequences that would be great. Thanks.

Did you check out your TXT flight log to see if it logged any error/informational messages? If not, you can upload it and view it online here.

You can find charts in the P4P manual. It's available on the P4P downloads page. I checked it and did not see any patterns that match your description.

Yes same here, nothing in the manual explaining this sequence of LEDs. Just going to upload TXT flight log now.

Hi singer, have uploaded to HealthyDrones.com and the only message is "The aircraft is in a Warning Zone (Class D). Fly with caution here". This always comes up on the GOapp when I fly here but have never had that light sequence before. Could it be something to do with the new geofencing?

I don't think it's related.

The light pattern mentioned in the manual is similar to what you're seeing (minus the flashing speed). Perhaps the manual just doesn't document the difference when flying in a warning zone -- or the light pattern was changed and the manual was not updated.

Maybe try another flight in that location to see if you can reproduce that same light pattern. If you can, it's probably just alerting you about the warning zone.

Yes i'll try that. About 30 mins before i'd being flying the Mavic at the same location and the LED patterns were all normal. I have not yet updated the latest firmware on the Mavic so it keeps telling me to update immediately.(couldn't update in field so ignored). I'm about to update it now so will return to that spot and see if I also get unusual LED patterns on Mavic after update.

Quick update, have tried flight at home which is only about 100 metres from where I first spotted the strange LED pattern and i'm no longer getting it. The weird is that i'm at the same distance roughly from the no fly zone, the red outer edge of which is about half a mile away from where I live anyway so i'm thinking that this pattern could mean that there is a no fly zone near by. Just a thought.

I've put a request in to DJI to let me know what this particular LED pattern means and will post on here if they get back to me.
