Straight up and straight down.

they want to charge me 248.00 to fix my deone.
I will be argueing with them in the morning.
What did they say happened?

Did you find out what your Go4 flight records indicate happened? That's the evidence you need before you start the discussion with DJI, so you're prepared with facts.
I have no idea how to do this.

Finally I unfortunately found someone with the same thing that happened to me, do you have any updates, mine was in a landing sequence, I cancelled that when I had visual at a few hundred feet. The motors rev'ed up and it sounded like a stuca dive bomber the engines went crazy. Perfect straight down at a speed beyond imagination...
As always, the flight data might help find the explanation. Without that anyone can only guess.
See post #19 to see how to get the flight data.

I tried the number 19 post and after down loading the I tunes I could not get the page that was in the video to come up on I tunes
I synked it and this is what came up.
newton 04 09 17.
distance 39 m.
time 3 min.
max altitude 206 m.
photo 0.
video time 0.137.
does this tell you anything.
at the very top it says flight list.

when a sync is done, given I can still power up drone, would the drone not contain the info within for Dji to look at? Thanks...
If the flight appears on your flight records and you synch, DJI should be able to see it at their end.
The drone has an internal SD card which contains even more details of the last few flights including data that might not be in the app flight data.
DJI should be able to access this even when the Phantom won't power up.

Big thx to msinger for getting this straightened out.
I owe you one.
wow I did not know the flight logs were printed in one tenth of a second intervals.
looking at this flight log can anybody see where I did anything wrong or what caused it to crash?
thx Don

this is where the rc club I belong to flys every week end

That's an interesting "airport"
Five parallel runways but only 500 metres long, no hangars or planes and only one small building.
It must be quite a club.
stage field.
