Still can't get intelligent flight modes to work

I just used the "follow me" mode for the first time last night on my standard. I just got up to about 150 feet and toggled to F-Mode then selected the mode using the blue circle button like you guys had mentioned. I will probably never do it again... After about 1,000 feet it began to just start taking off in the complete opposite direction, however switching back to F-Mode made the drone stationary again. I'm guessing maybe my phone lost GPS signal.

Did you do a compass calibration prior? Sounds like was not set?

Yeah, I calibrate before every flight.

Edit: This was in a open field with no obstructions, interferences, etc.
