Standalone Gimbal and camera?

I just got a crashed phantom 4k, drone only, with gimbal and camera. Ribbon cable and one arm needs to be replaced on the gimbal. The question is can the camera and/or gimble be repurposed as a standalone device? Pinouts? Signal lines? I have a 500 size drone that I want to use it on.thanks, Cliff

What do you mean by 500 size drone? And you want to use DJI gimbal/camera on the mentioned 500 is that correct?
