Iam new to this hobby. 3 weeks ago I bought a p3A from a third party seller, though he claims he acquires phantom products from JT photoworld, one of 3 official sellers here in the Philippines. I recently registered here to get new info and at the same time get invaluable lessons or points related to flying this ac. I came across this thread, then got scared, the question that came to my mind was what if I have this stress crack to my drone? I totally dismissed the idea as I have never opened the box yet. Last night, I finally did open the box and upon close inspection, to my surprise I saw one stress crack in one motor mount. The crack connects from one motor mount to one of the shell mount. I was in total disbelief. I called the guy this morning, what really frustrated me was outright replacement of unit is only good for 7 days upon purchasing. He kept on telling me that this is an isolated case... Right?! I really cannot believe this is happening to me. Brand new drone out of the box with a hairline stress crack. Together with some forumers here I totally lost confidence in the quality DJI put into their units. I even have a 10 year tag 2006 to 2016, meaning this is a new shell with the x support. This hobby is not cheap. Sadly, it looks like this hobby is not for me. I will try to contact JT photoworld and see what happens.
