Should this be in my motor?

This motor looks like it has hot-melt glue in it

It's in a couple of places on a couple of motors, but less noticeable in the them.

The vast majority of the motors look to be clear of anything like it.

Is this normal?

More then likely it was done at the factory to keep those windings from oscillating.

I've not had any heat problems with that motor (or the other one that has a smaller blob of it), nor any problems with motors in flight, well not so far anyway :) but thought I'd just check if anyone else has this glue in theirs.
 
I just looked very closely at all 4 of the motors on mine and there is nothing at all like that that I can see.. Seems it must of been a drip from some place else when it was being made. Tho I have seen hot glue in the bottoms of some other motors to hold the wires in place were they go in to the connections for the windings.
