Serious video lag with DJI white goggles

Just purchased a new DJI Goggle white. Performed all updates, and began using with my Phantom 4 adv. I am experiencing long time lags between stick movement and the updated video, on the order of 5 seconds. It is quite dangerous to fly as a result. This lag is not present when flying with the iPad controller.

If I cannot improve this, I will need to return the goggles. Has anyone seen any solutions?

I'm not sure how you are connected, but post #7 here gave a solution to another pilot who had a very similar issue. Have a char and see if this helps DJI Goggles - Video lag and Video Quality

Try another pair. They're worth a real look. I enjoy mine on P4 and pro. No lag at all. Believe you just got a bad set. Good luck.

That scares me more than anythng else. Probably enough that now I will look at other options.
