Self locking props

Hi all,
Can anyone please advise whether or not the props on a p3s should be tight or free on the thread when running down...
I ask because I have one set the are loose all the way down and another set that are tight ...
Any comments would be appreciated...

On the p3s I had and on my current p3p the 16 props I have all spin down freely. I sit the props down on the threaded shaft and flick them in the correct direction with my finger to spin down til the motor turns a little. Once all four are spun down, hand tighten.

Either is okay. For some reason, some of the OEM DJI props don't freely spin the whole way down. The important thing is to make sure they are threaded on the entire way and then turn them about another 1/4 of a turn to tighten them.
