Hi, hopefully tomorrow I will pick up a used P3 Standard. Will I need to do anything in particular before I can use it with my Android device? I will read the manual fully tomorrow before collection.

Look for cracks on the arms and motor mounts. Phantoms are known to crack there.
Look for any other signs of damage or scratches which may be evidence of a crash.
Make sure the camera is working and is level. Make sure the motors all run smoothly.
Make sure the IMU is good and the compass and sensors are functioning properly.
