Greetings all

I am in a position where I have to use my iPhone 6 Plus to fly my P4 for a few days. I've noticed that when I use the phone to fly it eats up lots of space on it. Is there a way or setting I can change to stop the P4 from loading up my phone with data during or after a flight? Also, is there somewhere on my phone where I can go to delete data from all my previous outings with my drone?

I'm asking this because since using the phone to fly, I have noticed that the free space on it is being quickly chewed up. I'm not interested in keeping any past flight information because I've only been out 4 times and have only been doing the "circut" maneuvers... nothing interesting that is worth keeping.

I bought a Samsung Tab S2 a couple of weeks ago, I used it for the first time the other day. I noticed that the battery life on it was going down very fast. I plugged it in to charge and about 3 hours later It wouldn't start up. All I'm getting is a very short look at the splash screen for a few seconds and then it shuts itself down again. I'm pretty sure it is a battery defect because at one point during my trying to get it going I noticed that it said 0% charged. It will be going back to where I bought it and will be changed for an iPad next week.

Any help is truly appreciated!!!

It looks like you probably have video cache mode on. On your DJI Go app, click camera to go into the camera view. You do not have to be connected to your drone for this part. Now, click the three little dots on the top right corner of your screen now you will see a menu scroll down to Cache during video shooting. The little slide bar will probably be green. Click on it, and the slide bar will turn black. Now it should not use up as much data with the unnecessary cache video that is saved to your device. I personally have an iPad, and it has plenty of room, so I always leave on the cache video option so that if somebody wants to see my video on the spot to make sure I wasn't spying on them or something, I can show them the video right there. It is also useful if you lose your drone to have that cached video and it might be able to show you where it might have crashed.

Once you have that mode off, on the DJI Go app, you are going to want to go back to the home screen where you can see a picture of your drone and the option to go into camera mode again. On the bottom of your screen you will see 4 buttons. The buttons are equipment, editor, skypixel, and me. Click on editor. Now on the top middle of your screen you will see two options. Right now create option will be underlined, click album to show all of the videos and pictures that have been saved to your device. Now click in the top right corner of the screen where it says "manage". Now select by touching all of the videos until they're highlighted, and on the bottom of the screen click delete. You should now have more room on your phone. These are just the low-quality video cache samples. Not the full quality videos that are on your SD card. These cache videos are not for your enjoyment, they are just there in case of emergency.[emoji1]

If you were caching the video on your iPhone, then clear the cache here:

And, then disable the caching here:

Thanks so much gentlemen - I’ve gone from having 2.3 available free space to 8.86 on my phone. Over half of the 16gb the phone is equipped with. Lots of room to fly now!!! The Samsung goes back next Monday and an iPad will take it’s place. I know lots of guys here use Android with no problems and I appreciate that. But being a life long Apple user I was having a bit of a time getting into the differences it has. It could be age... nah...
