Safe wind conditions for Flying?

10 mph. No big deal. 20. Don't fly. I use the trees to tell me. It can be calm on the ground but if the trreetops are swaying back an forth I generally don't fly. It can handle over 20 mph. It's just my rule. The thing really doesn't like flying in 20mph wind anyway.

If you want, check the wind at the altitudes you plan on flying. could be 20 mph on the ground, but 40 mph at a higher al

My very first flight the wind was ~30mph / 40mpg gusts..
I was just standing there looking at my drone drifting away. Scary stuff. But its a solid flying machine, easy to control, and i was able to land it without a problem, although the landing was a little bumpy...
