RTH set height

I know that if I initiate RTH, my P3S will climb to what I have it set for. If I am above my set point, will it decrease altitude and land. For my comfort level, I would rather have it descend than ascend.

No. It'll immediately start returning home at the current altitude.

if the actual altitude is higher than set RTH altitude, it won't descent but will follow RTH.
