I'm so pumped up for this gimbal. I feel like this is a bigger launch then Call of Duty! Lol.

Yes, me too. I sent Keri an email asking for deposit / purchase instructions, but he has not responded yet. Hopefully, that means he is testing and making it available in BLUE.Venom93corba said:I'm so pumped up for this gimbal. I feel like this is a bigger launch then Call of Duty! Lol.

Hi RemE- could you elaborate on the specific a/v adapter you used- I have a samsung galaxy note 2 and cannot find an adapter that goes from the micro usb socket on my phone to rca that is known to work to connect the 'video' output on my phone's screen when the vison app is running to show on my fatshark goggles..? thanks for anyone's feebackRemE said:awanderer said:Great work. I don't care about the colour cause I won't see or hear it anyway
I want to figure out how to tap the camera video source directly so I can use an ImmersionRC vTX/vRX with FPV rather than video off the phone. Has anyone done this or is there a simple solution to it?
This is a problem as the RC control is 5.8Ghz on the Vision, quite unique, and a std analog VTX on 5.8Ghz is going to really mess with the radio. Just get a range extender on the wifi and an a/v adapter on your phone to goggles. I've done that and it works just fine.

I think once you start getting higher than that, you throw in shipping and before you know it, it's a major investment. Probably would need to add longer legs for landing to protect the camera, etc.
My guess is if a company says their product will be somewhere between $300 and $400, the lower amount is there to bait you, while the higher price is probably what it will wind up being when everyone is already invested in the idea and worked themselves up.
I hope I'm wrong.
Where did you get your lens filter? Any idea on the weight of it?Vicrimo said:I like the way this gimbal looks compare to the DE gimbal. My only concern is the camera hanging too low. I guess adding thicker cushions will help a bit. Can't wait to preorder. I already have the lens filter kit onand this gimbal would add the final touch to my PV2.

I just spent about an hour looking for the filter kit, everybody is sold out. WTF they must have 2 guys hammering them out in the wood shed and got behind. Might have to build my own.Vicrimo said:BigSky said:Where did you get your lens filter? Any idea on the weight of it?Vicrimo said:I like the way this gimbal looks compare to the DE gimbal. Did a bit of a search myself, the only place I could find it in-stock was BUZZFLYER in the UK - about $28 shipped for me in USA.
BigSky said:Thanks Justin. I looked and looked and didn't find one.
I was out in a big field just down the road flying about 6 fee off the ground about 3 mph. All of suddenly the Phantom dives down at 45* into the snow. It landed softly on 12" to 16" of fresh snow. No damage at all on props or anything else. I went over and picked it up and noticed a weird smell, almost like cow poop.
I put everything in the car and came home. I started it up in the house and discovered one of the motors isn’t working. It tries to turn, but just bumps around and it still has that weird smell. That explains the nose dive.
I am not very happy so far.
