Risk of "Accidental Power Down in Flight.

Re: Risk of "Accidental Power Down in Flight.

I can attest to CSC shutting down the motors immediately while in flight. I found this out the hard way by accident once, and then my own stupidity the second time.

The first time, I would have never thought it would shutdown in flight, so never paid much attention to it. I was flying FPV and bringing it back to me (right stick down and in), I was also attempting to bring it down at the same time (left stick down) and I must have hit one of the CSC positions as the Phantom dropped out the sky instantly. Upon reviewing the video, the props definitely stopped. I realized that I shouldn't have been descending so quick, but you live and learn... well, kind of.

The second time that it happened to me, I decided to test a theory - as opposed to simply asking here on the forums. I thought 'surely a person would have to hold the CSC for three seconds for it to shut down'. Oops. I found out that it will shutdown instantly - as soon as you hit the CSC position.

Just telling my story to hopefully prevent anyone else from doing this.
