Replacing Motors

Search YouTube for tutes. If you are proficient in soldering your biggest issue will be getting the shell open without butchering something. The first time you do it you will wonder if it was ever designed to be disassembled.

Use right type of motor, CW or CCW
Use the original screws
Let motor seat properly
Don't over tighten the screws
Open shell very carefully

Look at the YouTube video on replacing such a motor first.

The correct type of motor is what was concerning me, can you elaborate as to the difference between CW or CCW? I haven't been able to find any concrete documentation as to which one I need.

Never mind, I'm an idiot. CounterClockwise vs ClockWise. Thank you for reminding me about that, could have been a serious waste of time and resources.
