Registration of pre-owned phantom

Good evening everyone. I recently purchased a pre-owned phantom 4 on Craigslist. Is there any way I can register it to my DJI account or do the logs automatically sync to my account due to being controlled from my iPad already? I also use my iPad to fly my spark too

No. Just install DJI GO, log into your DJI account, and go fly.

The logs will not sync to your DJI account unless you manually sync them within DJI GO like this. If you do not do that, they will only remain locally on your mobile device.
