Red zones

Hi everyone.
I've just started flying a drone and am wanting to fly it in a red shaded area as per the caa map for nelson. New Zealand.
I'm wanting to use it to take pics of a roof which is the highest thing around so not a shielded operation I'm looking at doing the part 102. Is this necessary? It says I need a license and to notify air control to operate in that area?
Any ideas?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Verify that with the ATC. ( Air Traffic Controller).

I'm struggling to find any contact numbers for nelson air traffic control?

I found most numbers in the Kittyhawk program located in the App Store of your computer.
