red light possible loss in gps signal ?

I was was out flying today with a good gps lock, I decided to bring the phantom down to about 10-15feet in height and take a walk through a highly dense wooded path to another open space. when flying I got the odd red light led . now I think it was because I was losing gps down too the amount of tree cover. could anyone confirm my assumption??

Just as I thought,in gps mode with 6 satellites exactly.thats the pattern I had. Thanks
