I want to be able to record GPS coordinates during a mission such that it can be stored in a flight log and later reconstructed in a map. Can Litchi do this?

The GPS co-ordinates for any flight should already be stored in the existing flight log on your device. You can upload that log file to a log viewer such as the link shown below. Then download that file as a Google Earth .kml file. Import that in to Google Earth and there is your map of the flight. This will work with Litchi or Go.

You say that I should find .txt files, but my iPhone files are .DAT files. I have not been able to find an app that will read these files.
