Really choppy video feed

As of late, I believe after a recent firmware update the video feed is super choppy and laggy. Even if I'm right next to the AC. I think it might be app related because sometimes it gets stuck on the splash screen and I have to force close it a few times (Galaxy Tab 3).

I tried switching between 2.4 and 5.8Ghz but that didn't seem to help much. Also updated the app of course.

Any ideas?

To rule out the app update as an issue, you could try downgrading to your previous version of DJI GO. The APKs for old versions of DJI GO can be downloaded from APKMirror or APKPure. You can sideload the APK file on your Android device like this.

If rolling back DJI GO does not help, then try setting up your Android device like this:

That's a pretty helpful guide for install actually. I believe I have most of that correct but I'll double check the settings.

Are you using the iOS or Android version of DJI Go?

I had a similar issue with my Employers new Phantom 4 Pro V 2.0 where the issue was the Android version of DJI Go.

I couldn't work out why video was so laggy on my phone and Nexus 7 II when on my own P4P V1 there was no issue.
Then I tried my iPad Pro 9.7 and video was super stable.

I'm using an Android tablet. It's worked great until recently.

So I looked over the guide to setup an android tablet and DJI GO. Some of the settings don't seem applicable anymore. For instance the setting to change the video feed quality. Unless I set it to manual and not auto there is no option to change quality.
